Skate-A-Thon a winning tradition at Westfield.
Thanks to the efforts of some very dedicated people in our organization, the Westfield Ice Hockey Skate-A-Thon was the best ever and raised a serious amount of money for our team! It is great to see our players, past, present and future sharing the ice, having fun and raising money to support our program. A very special thank you to all of parents whose efforts made this event so successful!
Blue Devils Serious about winning in January and February.
In a brief and serious conversation with Blue Devil Captains Jimmy Bender and Craig Esposito it was easy to see how they feel about taking their game to a higher level during the balance of the 08 season. They are both focused and driven to lift the team to its forth strait year of state playoff contention. "We have the opportunity to play some teams again that we could have beaten in our own division", stated Esposito. "Now that we know what to anticipate we have to play our game this time around". Bender and Esposito have been varsity members of the Westfield team for each of its four trips to the state playoffs and if their serious attitude is any indication of their focus and determination we are going to see some up tempo games over the next few weeks. Let’s all route them on to victory.
